Graphic Designer

We are hiring a Graphic Designer to contribute innovative ideas and unique visual assets to establish and grow our brand. You are someone who thrives in a remote working environment. This role reports to the Director of Integrated Marketing and the Content Strategist.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Learn Mekorma’s product and service offerings to effectively assist marketing initiatives
  • Assist with developing and managing graphic design concepts, layouts, and elements for all print and digital content
  • Develop on-brand illustrations, animations, infographics, logos, email headers/templates, web page elements and layouts, and other designs
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Maintain and evolve brand standards across all channels
  • Create webpage layouts and publish content to CMS

 

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 3-5 years experience in graphic arts, design, or related field
  • 1+ years experience in marketing – preferably B2B SAAS/ tech industry
  • Knowledge of layout, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
  • Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
  • Experience with various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must have a high level of creativity, with the ability to research and bring new ideas to the team
  • Working knowledge of and or previous experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, D365 for Marketing, HubSpot, and other Marketing platforms).
  • Ability to successfully manage time and work in a remote environment.
  • A strong portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and detail

 

Preferred Experience/Skills:

  • Degree in Design, Fine Arts, or related field is a plus
  • Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
  • Ability to create animations for video content
  • Experience with CMS management (Sitefinity)
  • Comfortable communicating with internal and external customers through video channels (Vidyard)
  • Experience in accounts payable, accounting or Fintech
