Chapter 1: What We Stand For
Mekorma’s mission is to simplify AP, both in how it feels to use our tools and how we operate internally. Ora explains, “We embed our products in the ERP system so there’s very little for customers to adapt to.”
Simplicity and ease are guiding principles for everything we build.
“Our tagline used to be ‘Mekorma makes it easy.’ And that’s just something we really care about,” says Ora.
Chapter 2: Advice for Fellow CEOs
In part two, Ora shares her most important leadership lesson: invest in personal development, both for yourself and your people.
“Going deep, learning what it is to be you, learning what it is to communicate in authentic ways,” that’s so important, Ora shares. “And then I would say, invest that in your people.”
She also recommends the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) as a framework for managing business operations with clarity and purpose.
“It’s just a really great system that you can craft to your own company’s needs. Get an implementer and go for it.”
Chapter 3: A Business Rooted in Values
In part 3 of the series, Ora discusses how Mekorma’s values emerged through intentional reflection:
“The three values we agreed upon were personal and professional development, quality relationships, and seeing the whole.”
These values now shape leadership, guide decision-making, and support the company’s desire to create a positive impact, not just for customers, but for the broader ecosystem.
Chapter 4: The Future—Socially Responsible and Balanced
What does the future of Mekorma look like? Part four lays out a vision that goes beyond financial goals.
“We want to be a socially responsible company and provide services to other socially responsible companies,” explains Ora.
At Mekorma, our long-term goals include sustainability, work-life balance, and a human-centered approach to technology. As a team, we are actively working to prevent burnout and create a workplace environment that is thoughtful, balanced, and healthy.
“Tech is a high-pressure environment,” Ora says. “We have to be very mindful to have a process that doesn’t overload all of us all the time.”
Chapter 5: Thought Leadership
In the final video, Ora reflects on what it means to inspire others. “When people tell me I’ve impacted the industry, it deeply touches me.” Her leadership is rooted in connection, purpose, and the belief that business can be a force for good.
She humbly credits much of her creativity and leadership to being in tune with a larger flow of purpose and connection. “It feels like something’s coming through, and I love that it’s been able to have such an impact.”
